About the project

The EURO26 project – Youth Information Center was conducted in 2008 and its focus was to provide information to the young people about the programs and benefits that they can use in their free time.

The project was divided into three phases.

First and second phase

The first phase consisted of workshops in which participants provided insight into what kind of information they would like to receive, and attention was focused on where this information could be found.

In the second phase of the project, the portal was placed as a place of information. The direct access was enabled to the users of our mailing list (10,000 members), while through the promotions in secondary schools where we established excellent cooperation and through advertising through other channels the portal has accessed over 20,000 young people.

The portal has enabled the youth to keep up with cultural, educational, entertaining events, and it is actively working to enrich it with various information that they can use. The goal was to increase the mobility of young people in our country, and the fact that the EURO26 card has an international dimension is also important.

Third phase

Users were given more details about the portal, its purpose, content and usage in the discussion meetings of the third phase of the project. The brochures  were given as a guide to interesting things. All phases were very successfully performed and media followed.

The EURO26 project – Youth Information Center was supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
