Promotion of tourist and cultural sites

The goal was for young people to represent themselves and their country in the best way, to make their friends interested to visit Serbia and to enjoy the benefits of the EURO26 card.

About the project

The desire to motivate young people from Serbia to get closer with young people from Serbia and all over the Europe was a great start for EURO26 that in cooperation with the Tourist Organization of Serbia and city of Belgrade realize a project called “Promotion of tourist and cultural sites of Serbia among young people in Serbia and Europe”.

The goal was for young people to represent themselves and their country in the best way, to make their friends interested to visit Serbia and to enjoy the benefits of the EURO26 card.

Guided by this idea, a platform was created that contains tourist and cultural content that our country can offer to youth from Europe and Serbia also. This project was focused at providing special benefits for young people, which is the focus of the EYCA card. This sped up the overall offer.

Portal

The portal www.euro26.org/trafo has been created with a highlighted map of Serbia and its contents. Users of EURO26 were informed via e-mail about the portal and activities related to the project, as well as via Facebook, as the most effective channel for providing information to the youth. Promotions were held during  the start of the new school years where brochures were given to the cardholders with the information about the portal.

The project was held during 2009 and it was supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
